Film Festival Addresses Violence Against Women

As part of the commemoration of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, CAF—development bank of Latin America—, in partnership with Uruguay’s National Women’s Institute, attached to the Ministry of Social Development, and the Uruguayan Cinematheque, will host an event to screen a series of films addressing violence against women and girls, a serious human rights violation that causes specific and long-term harm and affects societies by seriously impacting their development.
