Line of credit granted to EXTEBANDES
A line of credit finances the purchase and sale of products, goods and services originating from member countries of the Andean Group by any person domiciled in the subregion.
EXTEBANDES, founded in Peru in 1980, has branches in Colombia, Spain, United States, Cayman Islands, and Venezuela. Its legal domicile is in Lima and its central service office in Caracas.
The shareholders of this multinational bank are six important financial institutions from the member countries of the Andean Group (except Banco Exterior of Spain): Banco del Estado of Bolivia, Banco Central of Ecuador, Banco Cafetero of Colombia, Banco de la Nación of Peru, and the Venezuelan Investment Fund.
The agreement was signed in the CAF headquarters in Caracas by CAF President & CEO Enrique García and by representatives of EXTEBANDES, José Armando Hopkins and Francisco Pocaterra.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
