Project 5x8 shows off its musical virtuosity
A new musical proposal, the result of ardent research into the most select of the Venezuelan and universal repertory, will be presented Thursday September 11 as part of the cultural program of the Andean Development Corporation (CAF). 5x8 Project’s mission is to demonstrate the country’s extraordinary wealth in this field of art.
Project 5x8 - formed by Chuchito Sanoja, Eddy Marcano, Nené Quintero and Roberto Koch, musicians of national and international prestige – plan to interpret the works of Otilio Galíndez, Luis Laguna, Aldemaro Romero, Simón Díaz, Luis Mario Rivera, Leonel Velazco, Alberto Valderrama, Pablo Camacaro and Chucho Sanoja, among others. They will also include outstanding works by composers from the rest of America.
In each of its interpretations, Project 5x8 introduces innovative arrangements that combine traditional with modern rhythms, emphasizing the beauty of acoustic instruments played with pure technique.
Chuchito Sanoja is responsible for musical direction and arrangements, as well as being the pianist; Eddy Marcano, plays the violin, cuatro (four-stringed guitar) and voice; Nené Quintero is on percussion and Roberto Koch on the double bass.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
