In the framework of the CAF strategy of developing financial markets, the Vice Presidency of Development Strategies, with the support of the Colombian consulting firm Sanmiguel-Petro Asociados, presented on May 17 the final version of the "Special Regime for Andean Regional Issues" to the Vice Presidency of Finance and the Investment Banking area.
Special Regime for Andean Regional Issues
The proposed regulations, prepared by technical staff from the security regulatory agencies in the region, is intended to initiate the process of creating the Andean Regional Stock Market, establishing uniform requirements to facilitate securities issues at regional level.
The regional regulators will sign an agreement in the near future to incorporate this regime into their national securities regulations.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
