Venezuela: Forum at the CAF extols values of peace

The issue of peace as a fundamental path to coexistence among human beings was the consensus among the speakers at the forum on Spirituality, Ecology and Economy for Sustainable Development, held today in the headquarters of the Andean Development Corporation (CAF) in Caracas, as part of the exhibition of the Sacred Relics of Buddha.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-,  the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly  celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project. The closing ceremony, that took place on the 29th of July, marked a significant milestone in the country's efforts to modernize and enhance the agricultural sector.

At the 1st National Congress of Hydrographic Basins, CAF – development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – highlighted the importance of Panama's water potential and underlined the need to address climate variability and the reduction in water availability as critical challenges in the context of climate change. Representatives of the National Government, academia, and civil society leaders participated in the event, who discussed strategies for the sustainable management of water resources.
