During his visit to Lima, CAF President & CEO Enrique García, and the Superintendent of Banks, Insurance and PPFM, Juan José Marthans León, signed a framework technical cooperation agreement for activities related to the publication of a book conmemorating 75 years of the creation of the Superintendency of Banks, Insurance and Private Pension Fund Managers (SBS).
CAF will sponsor part of the editing and publication of this bibliographical material, which will feature the history of banking supervision in Peru and contribute to promoting cultural development in the country.Alter the signing in the CAF Representative Office in Lima, García said that one of CAF’s objectives in supporting programs with technical cooperation funds was to “cooperate with institutions and especially with help in building adequate regulatory frameworks.”

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
