With the sponsorship of the Andean Development Corporation, UNESCO launched the book "Los Andes, Patrimonio Vivo." This work offers an integrated and holistic view of the Andean countries through the sites, properties and intangible heritage of the region which form part of the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The publication is one of the projects programmed by UNESCO on occasion of the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the creation of the Organization and the United Nations System.
With this mega-project, UNESCO is contributing to the educational-cultural work of the peoples of the Andean region and to the strengthening of their identity and cultural roots, in a dialogue and coming together appropriate to the ongoing process of internationalization.This large format work, with 592 pages and 280 photographs in full color, contains articles written by specialists on each subject area.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
