CAF representative in Ecuador Luis Paláu held a working meeting with Minister of Economy Diego Borja. In February a Programming Mission from headquarters will visit Ecuador to review the operations to be approved, contracted and disbursed in 2006
At the meeting, CAF Representative in Ecuador Luis Paláu and Minister of Economy Diego Borja dealt with various subjects, including the operations that the organization executed in the country last year and the approvals planned for execution in 2006.
In 2005 CAF approved operations totaling US$815 million for Ecuador for the public and private sectors, and disbursed US$350 million, representing 82% of multilateral loans to the country.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
