- Launch of new title in the CAF series "Journalists of the 21st Century: Spaces for a creative debate"
- The book was launched during the CAF-FNPI seminar “Business social responsibility of the media: new paths in pursuit of quality journalism" in Monterrey, Mexico
- The event was part of the commemoration of the 60th anniversary of first news report by Gabriel García Márquez
The book presents a complete survey of the experience acquired during a decade of FNPI activities as a reflection on a future full of uncertainty and inevitable changes in journalism. The publication is a collection of the valuable contributions from some of the best known teachers on issues such as the crisis affecting journalism, eruption of new technologies, outlines for composing a futurist profile of the media, and a vocational affirmation of the vicissitudes which - yesterday and today – characterize the profession of journalism. The aim of the venture is promote a type of journalism that fosters a substantial improvement in the quality of life of people.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
