  • Strategic Partnership signed with Uruguayan System of Youth and Children’s Orchestras (PASM) as part of the Social Action for Music Program
  • PASM is one of CAF’s pioneer programs for inclusion of children and youth at risk, through music.
  • For the last 11 years the Program has worked with over 40,000 Latin American children and young people from vulnerable sectors.

The amount represents the largest international facility ever undertaken by Sicredi, with the involvement of four internationally renowned entities: Banco Finantia, BNP Paribas, Eco.business Fund, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC). The funds raised can also be used in regions with a Human Development Index below the national average.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-,  the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly  celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project. The closing ceremony, that took place on the 29th of July, marked a significant milestone in the country's efforts to modernize and enhance the agricultural sector.

En el 1er Congreso Nacional de Cuencas Hidrográficas, CAF –banco de desarrollo de América Latina y el Caribe– destacó la importancia del potencial hídrico de Panamá y subrayó la necesidad de abordar la variabilidad climática y la reducción en la disponibilidad de agua como desafíos críticos en el contexto del cambio climático. En el evento participaron representantes del Gobierno Nacional, la academia, y líderes de la sociedad civil, quienes discutieron estrategias para la gestión sostenible de los recursos hídricos.
