The president of the Latin American financial institution was special guest at the First Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States.
(Caracas, December 6, 2011).- Enrique García, president & CEO of CAF - Latin American development bank - attended as special guest the First Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) held in the city of Caracas.
The CAF president’s participation in this event reflects the financial institution’s active and continued support for regional integration processes. He said the birth of CELAC was a positive development.
The first CELAC summit, which was attended by heads of state and government of the region, began important reflections on the future of Latin American and Caribbean integration.

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), CAF -development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean-, the Ministry of Agriculture, Land and Fisheries and the Tobago House of Assembly celebrated the successful completion of the “Digitization and Innovation for the Competitiveness and Sustainability of the Agribusiness Sector in Trinidad and Tobago” project.
