High Level Delegation of the South Korean Chancellery visits CAF
During a meeting which took place at Headquarters, existing projects were reviewed and new opportunities for joint work were identified.
On November 18th, CAF's Executive Vice-President Luis Enrique Berrizbeitia, received a high level delegation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Korea, headed by the General Director for Latin American and Caribbean Affairs, Ambassador Myung-soo JANG.
During the meeting, they reviewed the main joint projects regarding sustainable development, especially those connected to the financial area, productive transformation, infrastructure, climate change, and energy.
This was a valuable occasion to confirm the excellent relationship between CAF and South Korea, as well as to reaffirm the catalytic role which the Institution has in the promotion of trade exchange and investment in Latin America.
The South Korean delegation included the Ambassador in Venezuela, Joo-teck KIM; the Diretor of the Division for Central America and the Caribbean, Won-sam SEO; the Deputy Director of the Division for Central America and the Caribbean, Hye-yeon PARK; the Counsellor of the Embassy in Venezuela, oWon-hoon CHOO; and the Third Secretary of the Embassy in Venezuela, Jung-hyun JO.
