For the fifth consecutive year, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, will be a part of the Larga Noche de los Museos (Long Night of Museums) which will be held in La Paz on Saturday, May 17th, an initiative of the municipal authorities.
Emilio Uquillas, CAF's Director Representative in Bolivia, stated that "CAF promotes regional integration and sustainable development, and in this framework we seek to contribute to the consolidation of a human development agenda in our member countries", adding that examples of this "are spaces such as Artespacio CAF in La Paz, aimed at disseminating the culture of Latin American nations as well as the cultural spectrum that annually participates in this activity called Larga Noche de Museos, which is so typical of the city".
The show, which open to the public at 17:00, consists in the projection of Errantes, a mapping of Bolivian visual artist Adriana Bravo, which will be projected in the facade of CAF's building, making it a gigantic and dynamic screen. On the Institution's parking lot there will be a show of the works of 15 national and foreign photographers together with a selection of the archives of Julio Cordero, where more than 100 images will be shown.
