CAF and ProMexico work to strengthen Mexico's participation in the international economy
Both institutions signed a non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement to support the II Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship LAB 4 and the "Forum of Female Leader Entrepreneurs of the Pacific Alliance"
With the objective of promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Mexico, CAF, Development Bank of Latin America, and ProMexico, signed a non-reimbursable technical cooperation agreement to strengthen Mexico's participation in the international economy by carrying out the "III Forum on Innovation and Entrepreneurship LAB 4" and the Forum of Female Leader Entrepreneurs of the Pacific Alliance".
The subscribed agreement intends to promote creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship for the internationalization and investment of Mexican enterprises in the region in the sectors of Information Technology, Creative Industries, and Design. At the same time, it seeks to encourage, promote, and develop a dynamic trading and investment relationship between the female entrepreneurs of the Pacific Alliance by means of a mentoring process that allows them to strengthen their empowerment, competitiveness, innovation, and internationalization.
ProMexico is the federal government organization in charge of coordinating the strategies aimed at strengthening Mexico's participation in the international economy, supporting the exporting process of companies established in the country, and coordinating actions aimed at attracting foreign investment.
Thus, CAF supports the productive and financial sectors in its member countries through programs and projects that promote productive transformation and diversification, encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, generation of employment, and knowledge that can copy successful experiences that impact on the development of public policies.
