Funding to boost regional SME opportunities
With the support of CAF—development bank of Latin America—, the Latin American Integration Association will hold EXPO ALADI - Mexico 2016 “Multi-sector Macro Business Roundtable” on October 19-21, 2016, in the city of Torreón, Coahuila de Zaragoza
With a view to promoting sustainable and inclusive development in Mexico and the region, CAF—development bank of Latin America—is collaborating with the Latin American Integration Association (LAIA) in its goal of enhancing regional SME opportunities to grow and increase their share in the regional market and promote productive integration, complementing national efforts made by member countries to diversify their exports, raise competitiveness, and drive productive chains and logistics.
EXPO ALADI features prominently Latin American small and medium-sized companies, and provides better approach possibilities for partnerships, complementarity, financing and a more in-depth knowledge of the preferences and options offered by the various trade agreements concluded in LAIA.
Thus, CAF supports the productive transformation of its member countries through programs, projects and events that promote diversification, encourage entrepreneurship and innovation, as well as job creation through regional SMEs.
LAIA is a regional body in charge of promoting and regulating reciprocal trade, economic complementation and developing cooperation to help expand markets, with the long-term objective of gradually establishing a Latin American common market.
