New Impact Evaluation Proposals for Better Management (#MejorGestión) are now being accepted
Public sector institutions from Latin America and the Caribbean are invited to submit their proposals for public management programs for the I Assembly for Better Management (#MejorGestión), May 1st through August 31st 2017, aimed to evaluate the impact of public policies and initiatives for the purpose of improving their performance.
During this second window, approximately 7 initiatives will be selected and offered technical, logistics and financial support for the design and implementation of impact evaluations of the highest scientific rigor.
Designed and implemented by the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF), the I Assembly for Better Management (#MejorGestión) puts its resources, experience and free counseling at the disposal of public organisms to help generate knowledge and boost the institutionalization of impact evaluation as a public management tool.
Management initiative evaluation proposals will have priority, although relevant, innovative and feasible public program evaluation proposals may also be accepted, especially in the case of proposals addressed to matters such as productivity and innovation, education, health and social integration.
For more information and registration instructions, go to the I Assembly for Better Management (#MejorGestión) website. The application form must be completed by a public official working directly for the applicant institution. Ideally, such person should be responsible for or work with the policy to be evaluated.
