CAF offers 35 scholarships for Seminar on Impact Measurement for Development, to be held on November 28-30 in Cuenca
The event is organized by CAF-development bank of Latin America- and aims to train Ecuadorian officials in techniques and best practices on the use of impact assessment as a governance tool.
Applications for the 35 scholarships to participants of Ecuador SEMIDE (Seminar on Impact Measurement for Development) will be accepted until September 30.
The purpose of Ecuador SEMIDE is to promote the use of impact assessment in the region as a tool to leverage public administration, providing techniques and successful experiences both in Latin America and other countries worldwide. This event is organized by CAF-development bank of Latin America- with the support of the National Secretariat of Planning and Development (SENPLADES), and will be held on November 28-30, 2018 in Cuenca.
The event is a theoretical-practical seminar, based on training and consulting activities, which will allow Ecuadorean civil servants to learn the fundamentals about impact measurement methodologies, as well as to gain a first-hand understanding of successful cases by those who implemented them, and their impact on decision-making. Participants will also receive personalized advice from CAF officials regarding their own evaluations. Candidates should preferably be involved in one or more public programs that may eventually be subject to assessment.
Applicants who pass the selection process will receive a full scholarship that includes transportation costs to Cuenca, registration for the event, accommodations and meals for 3 days and 3 nights (November 28-30, 2018).
Apply to Ecuador SEMIDE by completing the registration form at the official event website by September 30.
