Venezuelan companies strengthen their innovation capabilities
CAF-development bank of Latin America- and the Ideas Foundation through the Avanza Program held Innovation Day, with the participation of 35 Venezuelan companies. The agenda focused on the generation of innovative ideas centered on staff creativity.
(Caracas, September 12, 2018) To increase competitiveness and productivity among Venezuelan companies, “Innovation Day” was held in the country with the participation of 35 companies from different sectors; the workshop was led by international expert Guillermo Beuchat from Transforme Consultores.
“Innovation Day” seeks to strengthen Creativity and Innovation capabilities with different methodologies and tools that can be adapted by any organization. Under the premise of creating an organizational culture and an ecosystem of innovation, participating companies defined challenges and ideas that may be developed in the short term, both internally and externally, by each organization.
This activity was framed under the Avanza Program, aimed at promoting growth of Venezuelan SMEs,by strengthening their capabilities and providing customized support, according to each company’s specific needs.
The program includes, among other activities, work with top consultants, support by specialized advisors, improvement of the business model in pursuit of sustained growth, scalability, design of market access strategies, internationalization, business management, communication and branding strategies, as well as networking spaces. This initiative is part of CAF’s commitment with the countries’ productivity and sustained economic growth in the region.
