CAF appoints new representative in Paraguay
Joel Branski, who had been serving as CAF representative in Trinidad and Tobago, has now been appointed to represent the institution in Paraguay.
The executive president of CAF–development bank of Latin America–, Luis Carranza, appointed Joel Branski as the new CAF representative in Paraguay.
Brazil’s Joel Branski has a relevant experience in management and development of operations and loans in Latin America and the Caribbean. Prior to this appointment, he served as CAF representative in Trinidad and Tobago.
He has held numerous technical and managerial positions in academia, the private sector and multilateral agencies, where he has developed innovative tools to improve project design, implementation, visualization and evaluation.
As a Representative, he will contribute to bring relations between CAF and Paraguay closer through the design of work programs with public and private sector to foster sustainable development and regional integration.
Branski is a civil engineer from the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, holds an MSc and a PhD in Environmental Water Resources from Institut National Polytechnique, Toulouse, France, and has conducted post-doctoral research at the University of Texas at Austin.
