Innovation, SMEs and urban transport as investment opportunities to promote development in Costa Rica
The executive president of CAF, Luis Carranza, met with the President of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada; the Minister of Finance, Rocío Aguilar Montoya; and the President of the Central Bank of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Cubero Brealey, to explore a joint agenda for the benefit of the general public.
The executive president of CAF, Luis Carranza Ugarte, met with the President of Costa Rica, Carlos Alvarado Quesada, with aiming to enhance CAF development bank of Latin America’s contribution to Costa Rica in strategic areas such as innovation and urban transport, as well as its support for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
At the meeting opportunities for joint work in bolstering macroeconomic stability were identified, in order to help improve people’s quality of life and to boost productivity and competitiveness.
During his visit to Costa Rica, Carranza also held productive meetings with the Minister of Finance, Rocío Aguilar Montoya, and the President of the Central Bank of Costa Rica, Rodrigo Cubero Brealey.
