Mexico to host Seminar on Impact Measurement for Development (SEMIDE) for the first time
Applications to participate in SEMIDE Mexico 2019 will be open from February 11 to March 13. The event will introduce public servants to the use impact assessment as a governance tool. The event is organized by CAF-development bank of Latin America- and will be held on May 15-17 in Cuernavaca.
CAF-development bank of Latin America- opened the application period to participate in the Seminar on Impact Measurement for Development (SEMIDE), which will be held in Mexico, on May 15-17, 2019. The seminar aims to train participants in the use of impact assessment tools to improve public initiatives´management.
Public workers interested in participating in the seminar can submit their applications no later than March 13th, through the event´s microsite, where they can find more information and the registration form. Mexican officials who are selected will receive a full scholarship that includes the transportation costs, as well as those of registration, accommodation and food.
For three days and three nights, selected officials will attend lectures, discussions and hands-on activities that will allow them to meet the people behind successful cases of impact measurement and its consequences on decision-making. Participants will also receive personalized mentoring from CAF officials regarding their own assessments.
