Spain and CAF strengthen their relationship to boost sustainable development and integration of Ibero-America
Trade, infrastructure and technical assistance are some of the core issues on which Spain and CAF will work together to improve the quality of life of the population and promote projects that enhance competitiveness in the region.
Spain’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Tourism, María Reyes Maroto, and CAF executive president Luis Carranza held a bilateral meeting in the framework of the 14th Pacific Alliance Summit, which takes place in Lima, Peru, and where the parties confirmed their commitment to working together to foster sustainable development and integration of Latin America.
In addition, based on their bilateral relationship and joint working experience, they discussed the prospect of organizing a Conference in Spain that will become an Economic-Business Forum to strengthen Latin America’s link with Europe, considering their existing complementarity.
Trade, infrastructure, technical assistance and knowledge generation were some of the themes of the debate in which the Spanish government and CAF can play a strategic role in initiatives that have a positive impact on the quality of life of the Ibero-American population.
