CAF to Donate First 1,000 Trees For #ParaguayPlanta
This major national campaign led by A Todo Pulmón Paraguay Respira for September 21 aims to help reforest the Chaco and other regions of the country. We can all help by donating trees or volunteering. At CAF we will do both.
In order to help reforest the Chaco and other regions of Paraguay, CAF—development bank of Latin America—has joined the major national #ParaguayPlanta
campaign launched by A Todo Pulmón Paraguay Respira for September 21, by donating the first 1,000 trees.
“For 50 years we have been committed to the sustainable development of CAF member countries such as Paraguay. We are pleased to do our bit for this reforestation project, which helps to offset the dire effects of recent fires. In addition to the donation, we will participate as volunteers in this activity to raise awareness about environmental protection and have a direct impact on the reforestation of critical areas of the country,” said Joel Branski, CAF representative in Paraguay.
On the A Todo Pulmón website you can donate trees and sign up as volunteers. The goal of this major national campaign is to gather more than 1,000 volunteers and exceed the 55,000 trees already pledged to be planted.
