After identifying the homes to be accompanied, visits are made following a predefined protocol to strengthen the self-management capacities of the households, and provide timely and quality information on the offer of social programs of the central government. In the second half of the year 2020, it is expected to serve 300,000 families; and a total of 1.3 million by the year 2022. With this evaluation we seek to know if the strategy used by the UNIDOS program manages to increase the affiliation and use of public programs by the most vulnerable population.
Business Growth Program for Formalization, (National Planning Department (DNP) of Colombia). The program, framed in the National Policy of Business Formalization (CONPES 3956 of 2019), seeks to promote business growth and the formalization of small and medium enterprises by developing managerial skills of entrepreneurs and technical advice. The implementation will be led by nine chambers of commerce located in three prioritized cities: Bogotá, Medellín and Cali; 550 companies are expected to benefit. With this evaluation we seek to know if the companies that receive the support improve their performance in sales, possession of assets, profits and employment generation, and if it increases their formalization.
Programs Focused on the Supervision and Promotion of Sanitation Services in Rural Areas, two applications made by the National Superintendence of Sanitation Services (SUNASS) of Peru. The first program consists of the supervision of the water, sewer and sanitary service providers of excreta in rural areas, focusing on water disinfection, since in rural areas only 2% of the population consumes disinfected water. The second program, meanwhile, consists of training aimed at these providers on water chlorination practices. With this evaluation we want to increase our knowledge about strategies to improve the management of water and sanitation services.
