IE Business School organizes IX edition of the Ibero-American Economic Journalism Prize in collaboration with CAF
The objective of the prize is to recognize the best journalism (newspaper, magazines, blogs, websites, radio or television) in Spain, Portugal and Latin America with the aim of raising awareness of the role of economics in society.
For the ninth edition, work on the theme of innovation and technology for the development of Latin America will be taken into account, although not exclusively.
The Ibero-American Economic Journalism Prize is unique in the region, and since it was launched, more than 2,000 articles have been submitted and hundreds of journalists and reference media have participated.
In line with this year's theme, a new category has been created this year: a prize for technological innovation in the economic press will be awarded to the best innovation project in terms of format, content or services. This can be a video, podcast, mobile services, online-offline hybrid projects, new sources of revenue, alerts, VR, apps, or any other innovative project launched during 2019.
The IX edition of the prize awards $8,000 to the best journalism in the region. Submissions can be made until January 30, 2020. You can read the full award rules at http://www.premioperiodismo.ie.edu/iberoamerica/bases/
