Bank of Spain and CAF Renew Cooperation Agreement

Bank of Spain governor Pablo Hernández de Cos and the executive president of CAF—development bank of Latin America—, Luis Carranza Ugarte, met yesterday at the headquarters of the central bank in Madrid. The authorities met to follow up on the signing of an International Cooperation Agreement in August between the two agencies, to renew the instrument signed in May 2013.
The purpose of this Agreement is to provide a general framework for joint collaboration that includes, inter alia, the development of studies and research projects, the organization of expert meetings and conferences, as well as technical assistance in areas of mutual interest. The term of the Agreement is three years, renewable for an similar period.
