Welcome to Visiones, CAF’s new virtual forum that will address the region’s major challenges from a closer, humane and interactive perspective, without prejudice to the rigor and objectivity that have made us a creator of relevant knowledge for Latin American development.
In an increasingly interconnected world, where new technologies imply immediate responses and an unprecedented information flow, Visiones seeks to display the most relevant information in global development and make it accessible to all, from decision makers to the youngest readers.
In the blog we will discuss, among many other topics, how countries in the region can create more and better jobs; advances in the quality of education and greater social inclusion. We will present our views on climate change mitigation and adaptation; we will study the international economic situation and the role of Latin America in the new global geopolitical scenario; we will analyze the best ventures in the region and innovations “made in Latin America” that have earned admiration worldwide.
In short, Visiones will promote discussion on issues that affect the day-to-day life of millions of Latin Americans and that are precisely the focus of CAF’s work.
We look forward to your impressions, recommendations and comments to build together a new virtual community to discuss development issues in our region.
